I wear SealSkinz in the Winter. No need for a liner. They are warm and comfortable. They use synthetic blends that don’t take forever to dry when they do get wet. Note that I don’t find them to be 100% dry. More like “drier than other socks” and generally more comfortable. For seriously wet and cold, like water crossings or swamps, neoprene is the best “warm when wet” insulator that I know of. Don’t forget plastic bags or socks (which do require a liner sock).
