Also please please please, I cannot stress this enough if you haven’t seen it already. Check your flange sizes! If you’re EP you will want to give up so so so quickly with ill fitting flanges. It made SUCH a huge difference for me!! I’m a 17mm and was using a 24 for like a month! Nipple butter helped (personally the Earth Mama nipple butter was my favorite because I’m a little on the crunchy side) but still didn’t fix it. I got the Legendairy flange sizing kit and it CHANGED. MY. LIFE! I pump every 2 hours COMFORTABLY even at my desk at work. Slap some nipple butter in there and it’s more like a tug, my 4 month old latches every once in a while and that’s more uncomfortable than pumping! When I tell you I cried the day I found the right flange size.. when I realized it didn’t have to hurt so bad I wanted to just give up.. it will help your supply to be comfortable! It sounds crazy, I thought it was at first, PLEASE invest in your comfort if you’re going to pump! It genuinely saved my pumping journey and in turn my mental health. I’ve spent the last 7 years GUTTED that I couldn’t make it past 3 mos pumping with my son. I’m on month 5 and still mostly keeping up with her.
