The first one is wrong as it's not powered. You can use a longer HDMI or DP cord. Its what I do. I have a 10 foot HDMI cable and an extension C to C cable and then XREALS 6 foot cable they gave away on Reddit for events. So its like 20 feet lol. Works fine. Idk why the second wouldnt work. I have this extension (I got for free....disclaimer) works good with HDMI to C- Ult Unite - Ali Express adapter then to this extension then to XREAL cable. Been my main way to use the glasses basically since day one. Walmart extension for C to C video
