Just being there is the most important. she may not be able to talk as it's happening. but just being there may be neough. If you do want to help beyond just sitting there or supporting her, you could always get cool, wet washcloths to put on her forehead, turn on a fan or open a window (air can help, sometimes so can a change of air, no matter the temperature), hold her hair back, rub her back, let her grip your arm, put something under her if she's throwing up, just sit next to her until she can talk, that sort of thing. You don't actually need to do anything but be there, but if she needs to get to the bathroom or needs help sitting or laying down, maybe offer an arm. Some kind of ginger can maybe help as well (I personally love these orange ginger chews and this ginger root extract). When she feels okay, you can also ask her what kind of support you can give or what could be helpful. Most importantly, you're a wonderful friend.
