Hi! I'm so sorry if I was misleading, I meant that I did the necklace in a gold color instead of the silver he wears. They are not fully gold. All the pieces say "gold-plated" but I bought everything on amazon so I really doubt they are actually gold-plated. The material for the small jump rings is iron wire, the O ring is zinc alloy, the long chains are sterling silver, and the short chain is stainless steel.
