Dang, people are really willing to ruin their car for a phone mount… I hate how much the glass mounted mounts obstruct my view with Minis being so small, so I bought a mount from One Mini Bite that I can attach any 17mm ball joint mount to (in my case it’s an ESR 25W MagSafe charger because I need charging with how much navigation I use). The mount lives in a perfect spot - out of sight enough to not distract me or obstruct how much I see out the car, but close enough to safely check navigation, etc.
