This is an excellent advice, I use renaissance wax for the last finish. It is easier to apply and not messy like ballistol and you can handle later. Also I used to have 3 different oils, balms, beewax for different parts now I only use the wax for all. https://www.amazon.com/Renaissance-Wax-Polish-200-ml/dp/B0012S1XBO/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?crid=1DKE4QRO1KT1Q&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.BJbl4oP_ui0C-dwJwlE8LT8wjVSa0BunooI7jdIp2WNtCNnR67YxZWgD2OjwjVFNqVyNbc2EUdx6LN0dSUN5apjHqx2dfmO-WTcLpYJBQBEez4QD2j1TX5DJ-02qKKbEyL8N3yWjsROhav_3TLjz-sWsbv_qGK5j-J7J1jLwEQ2lnQTqmo3arHUlpRgC9qpFGwKgN4hqoKbM-uJ_P2qTHQ.w_tSuzKVxcxXOYgn3S5unGDFpf9qv1Ghlj1yAR9FPaU&dib_tag=se&keywords=renaissance+wax&qid=1774449659&refresh=1&sprefix=rena%2Caps%2C317&sr=8-3
