Another interesting suggestion. I have a Ridgeline (and camper) too. Have a roof rack and usually transport that way. But I was able to mount two "bike front fork blocks" https://a.co/d/05Ag4MAP on the top of the cover to our roll up tonneau cover. I can lock the front fork of a bike in the block (front wheel inside somewhere) and then lash it to one side of the bed or the other. With upright bikes I can do that with the tailgate closed. With my LWB bents I can rest the back wheel on the open tailgate, and sometimes so that for a short trip. Though can't tow with the open bed (thus use the roof rack when towing the trailer)
