Haha! It was super smooth and easy. Plug and play. Connected to both ABRP and Ioniq Companion. App without any problems. And the Companion App even reminds me to unplug it when I turn off the car. OBDLink CX
There’s only one adapter that I know off that works. Obdlink cx bummer code https://www.amazon.com/OBDLink-Bimmercode-Bluetooth-Adapter-Diagnostic/dp/B08NFLL3NT/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?crid=2YNZTO52TMIL2&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.9I85aghTMT6B53qaovWFQv8vFcTdinuc22sVuq67iUfXucPU5Aom0dPNEi63FdEI-ImS5UN7ZDdg_zxe01j7dG172-jYJ7f-WY9abvo30tl_pcHROUmZNToJw5wOKXZyLNl4wGfF2-skOC_TLKXROczmaaUV32F4Q4mpZ-BeEacelwp7PN6KdaClL0Qv5aTUZZ_LJiKEI_nRsoOOYWEL_Q.tnvBEzZfKtXRn58rfFIYNm12-q0jVw4AINPnI-l8qgE&dib_tag=se&keywords=obd2+cx&qid=1782396304&sprefix=obd2+cx%2Caps%2C186&sr=8-1
I use OBDLink CX. It works with ABRP and "Car Scanner" for checking battery health and vehicle stats.

I don't think this is a very helpful comment. Let's do better: u/TemProcess94 the most convenient way is to buy a Bluetooth OBD 2 reader. I recommend this one, since it's BLE compatible and works with the A better route planner app. https://a.co/d/09SKaNII Once you have it, I would recommend the car scanner app by car scanner llc. Load the preset for the ev6/Ioniq 5 and then swipe through the dashboard pages.
dunno what bluetooth dongle you have, but it may not be giving you complete data. I have a '13 S, (R56), use the OBDLink CX wit Bimmerlink and I have a realtime dash on Bimerlink with water temp, oill temp, oil press, boost pres, battery voltage and IAT The problem may not be the software, it may be your hardware. Look there first.
Minis aren't "dramatic." This is all a result of OBD2 and emissions regs put into effect about a quarter century ago. Any OBD2 car with a evap leak (your bad gas cap) will set off a code and a light. You'll need one of these to plug it into the OBD2 port (under dash, near door, by your left leg) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08NFLL3NT You'll also need a smartphone and two apps: BimmerLink to ask the car "Car, what's wrong?" and also to clear codes, and reset service reminders for oil, brake fluid, brake pads, and register a new battery (if you have AGM battery. My '13 R56 does.) BimmerCode to change things on the car. Don't like 3 flashes for the momentary turn signal? Make it 5. Don't liek DRLs? Turn of off. Do'nt like the windows and sunroof opening if you press and hold the unlock button on the fob? Disable it. And... if you change the size of the battery you'll need this too. These are BMW/MINI specific. Having these, and learning how to use them, is one more weapon for you to be armed with when dealing with shops and mechanics. They can help you avoid getting ripped off or bullshat. You don't need a specialist shop, if you can scan the car yourself, with the correct tools for the job. It's liberating.
