Might sound crazy but I get my dog a beach ball dog toy and he keeps it together for the most part. He typically destroys all stuffed dog toys but this beach ball he keeps intact, unless we leave him alone with it and he gets bored. I even got the same dog toy for my nephew's dog and he said no way that thing is going to last with my dog, but lo and behold he was sending me a pic months later and the dog still had the toy so go figure.
