I really like this item - it gets the job done really quickly, and the lowest guard will get you your micro stubble. Remington Shortcut Pro... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B014SG66UO?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

I was a person who went to barbers or hair stylists for my whole life - and then one day (back in 2001), it was hot and I had been doing demo work on a house I had bought. So I grabbed the clippers my cousin used to trim her dog's hair to take everything off, save for probably 1/8". I assure you, it is not rocket science to remove your hair. The first time I did it, I was on my cousin's porch, it was like 95 degrees, I had had a couple beers, and there were chunks of old plaster all through my hair. I have recently grown to really like this gadget for my daily trimming, which I do with the lowest guard attachment. I spend probably 30 seconds each morning running that over my head and it always looks like I shaved a day or two ago. I then use a disposable razor and shaving cream "once in a while" to get the best clean and shiny look. I find that electric razors, no matter what they advertise, tend to cause me issues with ingrown hairs. Of course, that is different person to person. I have bought $30 Phillips rotary shavers and I have bought the $100 Pitbull Skull Shavers, as well as many other items in between. Don't overthink this - and especially don't OVERPAY.
