The other alternative would be to subscribe to DC Universe Infinite. This is a monthly service that lets you read digital versions from a large library of comics. Depending on the level you pay for, the books are either 6 months behind or one month behind. Watch out when you go searching. DC uses the word "Absolute" in the name of books in this new Absolute Universe, but they have also used the word "Absolute" to describe book collections of classic series such as Absolute Dark Knight and Absolute Year One. These are oversized hardcovers usually, and have nothing to do with the Absolute Batman series you are asking about.
