I have the same issue with big thighs and a skinnier waist and calfs. Wrangler makes some pants out of synthetic materials that stretch and are supper comfy. I still size up one on the waist and it gives me a perfect fit, but i need a belt to keep my pants up otherwise they would be too loose. I live in Florida and these are good even in the summer. I wear them to the office for business casual. https://a.co/d/0gqawC5G These should be the 5 pocket ones but just a heads up they have cargo pants variants that I can sneak by in the office as well cause the pockets are very slim to the leg, they are not bulging out. It also helps that the zippers and pockets are the same color so they dont stand out.
