I have done my best to avoid riding in the rain but I have been caught once or twice, never for too long. (maybe 20 mins tops). Each time I wiped it down really well and let it sit a while before charting. It's rated at IP54 so theoretically it should hold up to rain but I wouldn't keep it outside for long periods without a cover or something.
