You don't need to spend a huge amount of money. My machine is perfectly adequate and all the bits cost a little over £300 - admittedly I used a few bits and bobs I already had lying around - keyboard, screen, case and so on. You shouldn't have to spend more than about £500 however. CPU Motherboard Memory SSD PSU If you want VR, or a HOTAS setup, expect to spend a lot more. At least for HOTAS, you can start cheap and upgrade it later. VR is great, but you'd have to spend well over a grand to get it set up.
