So I've got a Raspberry Pi running a program called Crankshaft for Android Auto, it sits in the netting on the passenger side next to the middle console. I ran USBs for power and touch and HDMI up the inside of the middle console into a 7 in screen I found on Amazon that allowed me to plug the HDMI and USBs into the back, not the side (wouldn't fit), and was low profile enough to fit into the cavity where the stock screen was. There was still a lot of modification of the housing to get it to fit, I basically fit a 7" screen in a place designed for a 6.5'' screen. If you can find a slightly smaller screen that fits in the housing better, or even a portable AA device, you should do that, I couldn't find one that was small enough to fit. My solution works well, but you can see that the corners get cut off a bit, as well as the top. I was able to adjust the screen a little bit, but when I did that too much, it messed with the touchscreen calibration so I found a happy medium. If you have any other questions, just let me know.
