Holbien is def my favorite. Really creamy and pretty strong pigments. Turners not that bad though. I teach art and experimented with quite a few brands and found Turner the most reasonable for people unwilling to buy Holbien. More colors is kind of nice, since it dries pretty fast and doesn't rewet. Though you can pretty much mix anything with the cmky set. Also worth buying a retarder, a clear acrylic medium, and either a stay wet or air tight pallette.....also spray bottle. Retarder....just slows drying time add usuallu no more than 25% or may stay tacky and not fully dry. Clear acrylic medium is really helpful for painting transparent glazes more smoothly than just watering down paint. I use this pallette and can usually keep paint wet for a couple weeks if you occasionally mist it...you do need to clean it occasionally to avoid mold. Hope this helps. Good luck.
