You will need to disassemble. Check to make sure the groundboard and rockerbox base are both flat without warps (even a slight warp can cause issues). You will likely need to replace the teflon bearings. You can use furniture pads, but 1/8" virgin teflon PTFE is usually the preffered choice. You can buy on ebay or amazon. You will also likely need to replace the center pivot bolt with non-corroded hardware. You will want to clean the surface that slides against the bearings. If it is too damaged, you will need to replace this as well. A common material is FRP (white bumpy board stuff).
