If you wanted to use it you need something to provide dc input to the unit. For mine I use a variable dc power supply that has enough wattage to cover everything I need to charge as once. I also got a banana plug to xt60 cable to connect from the power supply to the charger. https://a.co/d/0abUfb9D And https://a.co/d/0bLwFbc8 I also ended up using the bench power supply for my soldering iron.
