God no, that’s ridiculous. Look on Facebook marketplace! Or there are plenty of more reasonably priced chairs. I know people rave up the Stokke because it turns into a regular chair… but like… they can just use a regular chair at that point. I don’t need or want the extra chair. It’s huge and bulky anyway. You could find a cheap toddler chair or table set when needed too. We loved our Boon Grub high chair because the entire chair other than the legs can be thrown in the dishwasher for cleaning. Once he outgrew that, he sat in a regular chair or our dining bench. https://a.co/d/0efw6zN9 I’m an occupational therapist - I do not personally love the ikea high chair that I see alot of people recommending here, because it doesn’t put the baby at a 90 degree upright quite as well, doesn’t have a footrest which important for feeding position, and doesn’t have the 5 point harness.
