I suggest using the USB connection over the OTA Wifi. It's not horrible but you will probably notice a bit of mouse lag. The USB connection is more stable compared to OTA Wifi. SuperDisplay is a much better option with no noticable lag but it's not free. It costs around $15 for a lifetime license and also has a free trial.
