I used a template made out of MDF and then routed it out of the board based on that template. To make the template, I found the curve I liked by putting down various cans of different sizes and tracing around hte base until I liked the look. I actually routed the template with this: https://www.amazon.com/Milescraft-1219-Circleguidekit/dp/B07VNGTGMV If I didn't have that (it was like $50) I would probably have used a jigsaw to get it close to my line, then sand or chisel from there going really slowly.
