The Vista stand is meant to be lightweight and portable isn't it? I find that often translates to feeling less robust. I don't have one though, so I can't say in this case. I'd been considering a Vista stand but I'm not keen on the price. What use case are you looking for? At home or portable/camping? Is there a weight limit concern? At home I use a LaSiesta 100% cotton king size hammock chair. I've had it about 5 years and it's held up great. It's a fabric/canvas hammock chair rather than a rope/open yarn style if that matters to you. It's actually in my living room and I use it every day. I do have it hung from a DIY support I built into the walls though. For outside use I have one of these stands- (though I bought it at a yardsale)-https://www.amazon.com/Sunnydaze-Hanging-Hammock-Chair-Saving/dp/B06ZYRX6DB?xpid=LEitda0tf0PuI I just remove the LaSiesta hammock chair from the indoor hooks and bring it outside with me. It's noisy a bit with the metal on metal hooks setup, but it's sturdy and that frame is about 4 years old. I did repaint it because it got some rust on it, but I keep the stand covered when not in use so it was small amounts of rust at connection points. For camping I sewed a hammock chair out of the same material as my hammocks. So far I only put it up if I have trees to hang from though because I haven't found a chair option I like yet. I'm considering the YOBOgear chair version of their Turtlebug stand (or doing a DIY mini turtledog). Or DIYing my own version of a tripod stand. I haven't decided yet. I'd like to find something with a smaller footprint than those options which led me to the Vista, but again with the price and my priorities, it's on a back burner for now.
