Main downside is that if it’s raining then it’s a little hard to change clothes without a bigger tarp over top. Also it doesn’t vent well so condensation builds up. I recommend it for sure as it’s cozy, but definitely don’t leave your tarp behind. It’s kinda great for light rain mainly during the night
