I use those for my dog. He got used to them after a few minutes. Some people give you funny looks, but they work wonders. I don't have to worry about him stepping on road salt (which isn't great for their paws) or broken bottles. And, critically important-- your dog steps in other dogs' shit more often than people realize. Better to pop their shoes off before they come in than have them track it through the house or on your couch/bed. The only thing that kinda sucks about dog shoes is they're not great for running around in. Guaranteed to fly off.
