Totally! I like: Nesting boxes - save those cardboard boxes from deliveries, granola bars, whatever, and peel off any shipping stickers or tape if your dog is prone to eating them. Put a few treats in the largest box, then put the next largest box inside of it, add some treats, and keep adding smaller boxes and treats until you have a nesting-doll situation but it's boxes and treats. For an additional challenge, fold the flaps closed on the outermost box or close the flaps on some of the lighter boxes. Find It - I make my pup stay in one room while I place treats in nooks and crannies of another room. I then call her to come, say "find it!!", and direct her around to the first few treats. She gets the idea, and then has to "hunt" all over the room to find the rest of the treats. I bought these 2 Teeth Cleaner Food Treat Dispenser Fetch Chewing Ball Cat Dog Play Rubber Toy - Walmart.com, and shove treats and/or frozen peanut butter in the crevices. Not only does Star have to do some digging, but she has to concentrate on holding the ball as she extracts the treats or peanut butter. I fill a shallow basket with cloth napkins/clean dishtowels, throw in some treats, shake it up, and let Star dig through the basket to find her treasures. To up the challenge, I'll put some treats inside plushies she's ripped into and throw those in there (be careful with this one if your pup will eat cotton stuffing!). I hope you all have some fun!! <3
