I started with pencil eyeliner and then my friend pushed me to do liquid eyeliner cause she would use KatVonD (hella expensive eyeliner btw). But then after wasting 2 of those and $50 later I started going cheaper - now I use Covergirl Perfect Point Plus Liquid Eyeliner - https://a.co/d/0gKosaOO (pics here of different styles) the sharp tip helps millions. It helps getting cheap liquid eyeliner to practice as I do everyday. Definitely prepare by having a mirror close to you and having unscented baby wipes or makeup wipes (to clean up your work or erase and restart completely). I always start thin and add more eyeliner towards the middle of my eyelid, kinda like adding a small layer on top and then on top again and again using my eyelid as a guide and for the wing I make the outline first and fill in from where my eye line ends (always above lashes after putting mascara), if I want to curve it or straighten the outline of the wing I always use a wipe after to fix it. When I started my friend also taught me a small trick where you grab a makeup wipe, add like 5 drops of water to make it more moist, get a q-tip and squeeze the wipe on the q-tip and use the q-tip to fix lines or any work towards the inside of your eye. When I started it would take me 45 mins to do makeup but now its 15 mins ☺️ Pro tips: dont blink while doing liquid eyeliner & never apply liquid eyeline to any tearlines 😢 or your makeup will drip, no bottom of the eye unless you can control your tears 😭 I wish you the best of luck, this one was a hard one to learn but everyone will be envious of it once you master it - you can see my eyeliner work on my selfies on my profile ✨️
