Ahhh, thank you! I looked through that brand's products and this one: https://a.co/d/03Me0ksn is probably going to be the best I can get ergonomically speaking. Max length of approximately 90cm is fine, I only need about 40ish cm anyway. It will cover the USB-C port I think, but honestly I'm not planning on using it at the same time as Im using the HDMI so whatever. Edit: yeah, this is what I ended up going with: 90 Degree 8K Short Micro HDTV to HDTV Coiled Cable,Right Angle 48Gbps HDTV2.1 Support HDR,8K@60Hz,4K@120Hz,Compatible with Camcorders, Monitors (Right) https://a.co/d/03Me0ksn

Fair enough, and thanks! I actually think what u/zook25 found might be the best of all the options I've seen so far. After looking around on that companies Amazon store, this one here: https://a.co/d/03Me0ksn should in theory plug in upside down covering the USB-C port but being the most out of the way. And to be fair, I don't think I'll ever use the USB-C port at the same time as I'm using the HDMI cuz if I need it for external storage for example, I'm likely using an external recorder anyway so there's no real reason to use the USB-C. As for power I'll be going directly to a dummy battery instead of a PD cable. Ironically, of course "I" can't find anything like it until someone links it to me, I'm sort of disappointed in myself, I'm not going to lie... Otherwise though, my guess is that Canon really didn't expect anyone to be attempting to use that HDMI port, hence why it's a Micro HDMI and on the right side. They "included" it, for the checkmark and that's it. I'm sure it's not that bad to use if the camera is in a fully built out cinema rig, but how many people are realistically putting an R50 into a cinema rig? Me apparently, but I prefer not carrying all of that gear if I don't have too.
