For reference. I have one of these mini compressors that comes with a very decent airbrush. More than capable of general spraying of something as thin as leather dye. https://www.gaahleri.com/en-gb/pages/turbox-mini It's paired with this spray booth, that packs away about as small as you will find in a capable spray booth with filtered extraction. https://www.amazon.com/Master-Airbrush-Portable-Painting-T-shirts/dp/B00BMUH8L6/ I had both from painting miniature figures. So it wasn't an extra expense for me. So much easier to get an even coat of dye than my attempts at using a dauber.
