I have this one for my bedroom tank. It's right next to my bed and I don't hear anything. It comes with 2 options either the waterfall or in water with bubbler attachment. I use it submerged with the bubbler line attached and it's less than whisper silent. Plus it's teeny tiny. Only thing I would say is that the water stream it's pretty strong but with the little orange lever it lets you slow down the speed.
