Everyone else has poopoo'd for valid enough reasons. If you are looking for a fan that fucks the keywords to search for are high velocity and heavy duty. Now that is pretty banal information, but that is how to focus in on fans that have a high "cfm". Cubic Feet per Minute is the measure of how much air the fan displaces; the higher the number, the "stronger" the fan. If your current box-fan aint cutting it, look up its model and the cfm it has before you go buying a replacement. If you're looking for a whole-ass house circulator, you should probably start by looking at fans with three times the cfm of your current fan. Whether or not that pushes you out of "commercial" fans and into the category of "industrial"... who's to say. Just gotta make sure that it runs off of 120volt, and you're golden. Also, keep an eye out for "brushless" options, as they are more energy efficient.
