I second the opinion of u/Visible_Print_3806 :If you replaced your MAF, use only an OEM MAF. If you used an aftermarket MAF and still have the old MAF, clean it and reinstall it on your car. My 2011 Scion XB recently threw a P0172 (running rich). I pulled the MAF (it is very simple to remove: one electrical connector and two screws - but be gentle with the device) and sprayed it with MAF cleaner according to the directions on the cleaner can (use ONLY MAF sensor cleaner, NOT any other cleaner, and wear protective goggles or at least a pair of old sunglasses), I reinstalled the cleaned MAF, and the car almost immediately ran better. I erased the code (I have a cheap OBDII scan tool), and it never came back.
