It really depends on your budget and goals. I had the same issue as you and recently ended up going with the Classic. I wanted something to start making espresso with and to learn as a newbie. And I also didn’t want to invest a ton upfront. After the update the classic seemed like the best option since it included some of the updates of the Pro 3 (thin wall) and now includes a pressure gauge. For some it does have a more time consuming workflow but for me it’s something I didn’t mind as I bought it learn not be quick like a Nespresso. If your goal something quick then I’d go with the 58 as it’s got a better workflow and better preheating. In my experience buying a funnel to preheat over a kettle helps a bit with the workflow on the Classic. Classic is currently $135 on Amazon. At that price I think it’s a great deal if your goal is to just start. The Pro 3 refurbished is also $243 on Flairs site.
