The longest certified passive (relatively inexpensive) 40Gbps and faster cables are 1.5m long, and AFAIK only these specific models sold by only Kensington, CableCreation, Cable Matters, and SilkLand. No other cables in this length have been shown to meet the USB specification requirements and so likely won't carry the data reliably and/or have too much resistance for high power charging. There are 2m active Thunderbolt certified cables but they start at about 3x the price of these 1.5m options. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0FS39ZLFK https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DQPW58Q6 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DW3XZ7WD https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0FB3YXRBF https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DRP25V8T Note that these will not be as flexible as a USB 2.0 (480Mbps) cable due to the extra wires and shielding required. USB 2.0 cables have been certified in up to 4m length.

I'd say stick with this lineup for USB4 40/80Gbps cables up to 5ft (the longest certified 40Gbps passive cables are 5ft - also note that certified passive 40Gbps cables can carry 80Gbps since the electrical requirements are identical). The 5ft and 3.9ft are certified and the shorter ones aren't - but they're likely using the same cable stock so I'd say the risk of them not working is very low. The pricing is very reasonable. Cable Matters [USB-IF Certified] 80Gbps USB 4 Cable The Amazon Basics USB4 3.3ft cable is also excellent value, and certified: Amazon Basics USB-C to USB-C 4 Fast Charger Cable If you want 40Gbps or faster in 6.6ft length you need an active cable, and right now I believe the only certified active cables are certified through Thunderbolt. I really like this cable - I think it's the best value. ACASIS Intel Certified Thunderbolt 4 Cable 6.6ft Passive 6.6ft USB4 20Gbps cables are cheaper though. I think this is the cheapest right now. I have one and like it. Sewell USB 4.0 Type C 20Gbps Cable, USB-IF Certified As an aside, if you want the bleeding edge in passive cables, this one hit the market recently. 20Gbps and 10ft long.
