I consider my cast iron grates a wear item on my grill (like brake pads on a car), and just plan to replace them every few years. I recently replaced them with these https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BFL95W3F for my Genesis 310, and they're just fine. Porcelain-covered cast iron isn't rocket science, so I think any brand will do. I've cooked on other grills with stainless steel grates, and I just don't think they hold the heat and sear as well as cast iron.
