And now for the FAQ! Where can I buy the book? Amazon. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0H6JXV6MY How many girls join the harem, and is there a limit to how many girls will be in the harem? What kind of girls join the harem? Four join in this first volume, and I currently have no plans for there being a limit, but the rate of new girls will definitely slow down now that the initial cast has been established. Probably. As for what kind of girls join the harem in this volume, there is the spunky holstaur (a cow girl for you not-so-weeby folk) on the cover and three more monster girls, both fluffy and not fluffy! Explicit sex or fade-to-black? Explicit. Two and a half scenes. The more you like blowjobs and paizuri (and breast play in general), the more you'll appreciate the sex scenes in this series (and some of the more absurd elements of its worldbuilding). There's also some kink, both in the dominance/submission way and in the hentai way. Let's say that things get a little... excessive. But also, even if there are only two proper sex scenes out of 150k+ words, one of them is 11k words! Is that too much? Who knows! I had a lot of fun writing it and it really ballooned to that point before I even realized it! So while there might "only" be two scenes, you can't complain about the volume of the scenes and how much the explicit content fills up the book. Is the style more Western or Eastern? I'm a bit of a weeb myself, so I definitely tend to incorporate more themes and tropes commonly found in Japanese stories into my own stories. That being said, I also cut out all the ones I hate (misunderstandings galore, lack of romantic progress, overly dense protagonists, etc) and blend them with more Western tropes. But if you hate anything and everything anime, you probably won't like any of my stories. Any inspirations? There are so many inspirations for this story that I'm not sure I could list anywhere close to all of them. You could probably list every single isekai anime/manga/light novel, from the kino gems to the seasonal slop, as inspiration. But also FFXIV and Blue Archive. Oh, and as far as the system/combat goes, it's inspired by FFXIV, Monster Hunter, and Dark Souls/Elden Ring. Is this an epic drama full of thought-out worldbuilding so complex that I could write an essay on the interconnecting socioeconomic politics of it? Uh... the setting is... um... the more happy you are to turn your brain off and go along for the ride, the better. Is this a literary masterpiece that will stand the test of time and be discussed in classrooms a hundred years ago as a great of its era? ... there's a lot of boob fanservice, so maybe? Is the protagonist some BETA CUCK SOY BOY or is he a MANLY MAN ALPHA CHAD? I'm sorry, sir, we don't serve those here. We serve human beings. He is an adult human male who is confident and brave in some regards, vulnerable and nervous in others, sometimes cool and normal, other times a total dork, who does not hesitate to flirt with and compliment the girls but can still be put on the defensive and get flustered when teased, and he has a very active role in the story calling the shots and deciding what they do rather than being passive and reactive. He is not OP either and actively refuses options that he knows would be too overpowered because he's a bit of a dungeon junkie who wants to have fun without blowing through everything too easily, but he is still more powerful than the average person. He's also a switch who enjoys being dominant as much as he enjoys getting pinned down by his incredibly horny waifus. How crunchy is the LitRPG side of things? The numbers are pretty casual. While there isn't that much to do with LitRPG-y stuff in this volume, I plan on expanding it much more in the following volumes. Even then, the story will always be more harem-y than LitRPG-y. How quickly do the characters get together? Because of the way the world is, the characters get romantic and lovey dovey almost right away, and there is a lot of flirting and cuteness. However, the sex doesn't happen until the last quarter of the volume. I prioritize cute flirting and other romantic gestures over sex, but there is much horniness throughout the story even without explicit sex. But again, rest assured, there is explicit sex as well. But seriously, the whole "waiting to get together" and "the chase" part is the absolute worst part of romance as far as I'm concerned, so, thanks to the way the setting works, they basically start dating as soon as they meet. Who is this book for? Who is the intended audience? Me. I see an AI cover! Does that mean this story is AI SLOP?!?!?!?!?!???? This story is absolutely slop, but--for better or for worse--it is 100% human-written slop. I plan on eventually replacing my AI-generated covers with human-drawn covers once I can afford to. I've been writing for over 20 years and publishing my stories online for about 8 years now in case you need proof of my writing from the pre-AI era. If you hate my guts and morals and refuse to give me money because I'm using an AI cover, feel free to find other means of acquiring the book that I cannot openly endorse (on Reddit) but will not complain about (insert winking emoji here). Boobs. Can they be too big? Can they be too small? What size is best? All boobs are the best. Boobs that are so flat that a girl's chest looks like a chopping board, boobs that are so enormous that they hang down to a girl's knees, everything in between and beyond--all boobs are good boobs. I love the insurmountable mountains as much as I love the vast flatness of the plains. How long do you plan on this series being? No idea! I can easily imagine it taking the route of my other series, Lazy Dragon Queen, where I'm more or less writing it indefinitely for as long as I continue having ideas for it. What about your other stories? The True Endgame and Lazy Dragon Queen haven't received more volumes on Amazon since I'm waiting for money to commission covers (since I'm not going to use AI-generated covers on stories that already have artists, doing so would just feel wrong to me), but I'm still writing them weekly on Patreon. TTE is about to end after being written for 8 years and LDQ isn't ending until I die. Lord of Infinity was purposely set up so that each volume is a self-contained story, and I want to continue it someday, but it's low priority and would also require money for a cover commission. As for To Freely Fly, I was working on the third volume when I suddenly got insanely inspired by the goddess of muse for this story, and I don't let muse slip away when I've got it. I'm still super inspired, so I'm going to keep focusing on this until that muse fades. I really, really love this story and it's easily the most fun I've had writing in a good while. I'll work on the third volume of TFF once my obsession with this story fades a little, or once I get inspired for it again. Do you have a Discord? I do, and I'm in voice chat for hours almost every single day just to hang out or play games together, and we also regularly host servers for all sorts of survival crafters like Vintage Story, Project Zomboid, Palworld, etc. But only cool dudes who make it to the end of the book get the link to it. That's all. If you've got any questions I didn't cover, feel free to ask and I'll answer! Unless it's a really stupid question like, "Will you marry me?" I mean, obviously I will, so it's pointless to even ask.
