The second will do more dander control but the first is really good for odors and stuff because of the UV light. So, get one of each and stick them on opposite sides of the room. Next, you're going to want to vacuum their room every single day. If you can't do it because of the allergies, get a cheap robot vacuum cleaner that runs every day. The air purifiers do a lot, but some of the dander will still fall on the floor which your feet can then kick up as you move around. The vacuuming helps to mitigate that. You'll also want to wipe down all of the surfaces weekly in their room that you can with something like Lysol wipes. Again, this is just to collect and remove dander from the space. If possible, keep the door closed or at least just cracked so that the purifiers can do their job. I take loratadine for my allergies but different things work for different people. If you take a loratadine pill every single day it will build up in your system and help you deal with the allergies (this was recommended to me by my doctor). Take a quick rinse in the shower with some hot water and kinda blow your nose out.
