To fix what the guy above said, you can keep it cooler even when it is boosting. I use an ARCTIC Liquid Freezer III Pro 360 A-RGB - AIO and I have mine overclocked. It never gets above 65 degrees. I use the Thermal Grizzly AM5 Contact Sealing Frame and Thermal Grizzly - PhaseSheet PTM as well. Spiking is normal with compiling shaders, but depending on your cooling setup, you can get it lower.

Ditch the MX-4 and get a Thermal Grizzly Phase Sheet instead. It's genuine PTM7950 that they've bought from Honeywell and whitelabeled It'll last longer than MX4, Perform better (especially over time), requires no reapplication and you know it has been applied evenly and is covering the whole IHS. https://a.co/d/0iKuKYd5 Comparison between the two https://www.igorslab.de/en/thermal-paste-comparison/?ids=42,10
