most dedicated leather cleaners are also formulated for faux leather and vinyl example this Sudz Lab Leather. you may have compromised what factory coating left by using the Lysol wipes. There are leather protection products out there like Gyeon Leather Shield but since you are worried about transfer to your pants I'd try a cheaper solution first. Get some liquid/spray car wax like Meguairs Quik Wax and put some on some microfiber and rub it on lower part of the cleaned steering wheel to seal it and prevent transfer.
