If the horse eats hay off the ground, you could buy a hay bag ( https://www.amazon.com/ZNGIKZ-PCS-Bags-Horses-Carabiners/dp/B0GWVDVT7Q/ref=mp_s_a_1_10_sspa?crid=EY7PQBUF3UVF&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.2hxWuZs3BiDfd6Sbwvr-Cji1r_l1XPyVlBJr0mS6OxjyEM9xajYopgGw7qr_pCBJoBwvVEN8Fb8RXEZuwSwYCX6q_c2kttDDxLcNlwvwVe98aamnYG6yq94ahDD4aKdJRCPQwc6pzzlcOnWd0z5PQw405_riPjadzxhk2oPjU22bLf5X21yNMeO-bECzKTar3WOguOahUeGFbhrxsqpF1Q.Q-TYDcQNVzCpFK6uuWlJtrTzYHrLx0oObwTmMH3IvDc&dib_tag=se&keywords=slow+feeder+horse&qid=1782318766&sprefix=slow+feeder+horse%2Caps%2C217&sr=8-10-spons&sp_csd=d2lkZ2V0TmFtZT1zcF9waG9uZV9zZWFyY2hfbXRm&psc=1) or a slow feeding hay bag in case the horse is a fast eater ( https://www.chewy.com/shires-equestrian-products-greedy/dp/265729). This would help the horse digest the food better and it would prevent hay from getting lost. You could tie these hay bags from a tree or anywhere that could carry its weight and be accessible to the horse. You could also try trick training her to keep her mentally engaged. Some things to train her could be to bow, to smile, to play fetch, etc. You could also look up some tricks. Secondly, you could try liberty training. This is a way of training a horse to work with you without riding the horse or carrying a lead line. This type of training relies mostly on vocal and body cues from the rider, good timing of rewards, and an extra whip/crop. You could probably use a long, thin branch as a crop, but it should be used as an extension of your arm and should never touch the horse. I’m not 100% sure what liberty training is, but you could probably look up articles and YouTube videos on it. Lastly, I found this cool video on YouTube that shows some good ways to enrich a pasture: https://youtu.be/Y5Ek7IY1Wfc?si=6ZiC8Rt7EOabxx0b Have fun, thank you for looking after her
