You can make them in an afternoon. Here's what you'd need: blender, bottles (something like this is common), kitchen scale (recommended but not absolutely necessary), and standard kitchen stuff. If you want to take it all the way, buy some labels and use the shrink tops. Given you're talking about Secret Aardvark, I'm going to assume you're in the U.S. Also, just note what u/MMB_LLMN said in the comments: there are some real hardcore chili heads in these types of subreddits who love heat (including me). Secret Aardvark habanero would probably be considered a low-mid heat level by many of those folks. Which just gives an important marker for "handling a ton of heat." You might want to avoid the hottest sauces, but throwing in a bottle or two wouldn't hurt and could be novel. A few solid recommendations already in the thread (including Marie Sharps and Torchbearer). I also like Butterfly Bakery a lot. You can buy a few sauces to include with what you make. The other thing to consider is throwing in some chili flakes. FlatIron makes some great stuff. A couple of recipes below. Happy to help further too. I'm not a pro, by any means, but make a lot of hot sauce as a hobby. If you want to make something like Secret Aardvark habanero, this should make around 6 woozy bottles (those that were linked above). If you want to spice it up, double the habaneros. Also if you haven't made hot sauces before, make sure you open some windows and turn on your oven fan when pasteurizing:
