Seems like i remember having maybe an inch piece that was a drop from the one i cut. The piece of flatbar is something I took from work. Its 3" flatbar probably 3/8" thick. It was BARELY wide enough for the bolt pattern on my SHH Thorn. I would recommend using 4" flatbar for that reason, but you could also just use the 3" like I did and make a base plate for your shifter and bolt that plate to the 3" flatbar with a flush mounted bolt, same fasteners i used mounting the flatbar to the extrusions so that the base of your shifter doesn't come in contact with the fastener for your base plate. Hopefully that makes sense. Anyway, I'll get you those exact dimensions when I get home.
