Newborns literally only need to be in sleeping clothes for the first few months. They sleep and poop a ton and it’s easiest for changing and most comfortable for them. You’ll want something that covers the legs for the car seat so just do a two way zipper sleeperhttps://a.co/d/04JOmTaf They make short sleeve ones as well if it’s going to be summer where you live. At home we mostly do the zipper sleepers and onesies. Or if warm enough -nothing at all, just a diaper and throw a swaddle on for naps. Actual clothing items are not practical AT ALL. Please don’t fall into that gimmick 😂
