Those can come in different sizes, and can maybe get you somewhere in the ballpark of their claimed dosage. But considering weight can’t really be measured by volume, those scoops result in an inaccurate dose 100% of the time. I have had multiple Gem-20’s since they came out back in 2011 and this scale here that’s a bit cheaper (and is the best selling milligram scale on Amazon) works better than the Gem-20 IMO. https://a.co/d/02pFMrhB Honestly though you’re not going to get perfect accuracy with any of these cheap milligram scales. It costs thousands of dollars for great accuracy weighing anything under 10mg, you need a sub mg scale. The scale u/Zealousideal_Fox_830 has is no better or worse than the Gem-20 I would bet. With that being said… what OP should do is turn his scale on, let it sit for a minute to warm up, calibrate it, set his weighting tray down on the scale and instead of hitting the tare button as you would normally do to weigh something, simply weigh the powder out on top of / adding to the tray’s weight. Example: if the tray weighs 4.929 and you want 10mg powder you add a small amount of powder to tray until it weighs 4.939 … if you want 5mg you’d add powder until it weighs 4.934. Etc etc Make sure all fans, a/c etc is off and try not to breathe in direction of scale when weighing powder, breathe out side of mouth as to not disturb the weight. If it’s freebase powder you could set a glass vial (I link to in my protonation tek below) on the scale and add powder to its weight in the same way I described doing with the tray above and then add dry citric or malic acid (or remove from scale and add your lemon juice drops) before taking the vial and adding water to it and shaking it up to drink.
