I'm in the same boat and decided to get rid of that Root Down EP, it's mostly remixes. I like to listen to full albums, and having the same song remixed back-to-back drives me crazy. I'd also get rid of that obnoxiously large Smile, you already have Pet Sounds if you are in a Beach Boys mood. If you can't get rid of it, put all the fatty box sets on display as "art" and that would free up lots more space (seeing Beach Boys, Parliament, Steve Reich, etc). Other tips for maximizing limited space: - Keep just one definitive album by certain artists (you can always stream others).- In some cases a greatest hits album can replace 3-5 albums (though I tend to prefer albums).- If you need the whole discography, seek out those Original Album Series releases that fit 3-5 albums in the space of one CD.- If you still haven't listened to a CD since you got it, ask yourself if you really feel like listening to this (don't think "someday I might"). If not, get rid of it.- If you feel you might regret it, put it in a box under the bed and revisit in a few months.
