This is the case I use. I too just use keep the grip on at all times. This case fits the rp5 very snug. And I put it in the case upside down. I find if I put the Rp5 in right side up, the joy sticks feel more “squished”. The bottom is more beveled, so it just feels better to put it in upside down. I have dropped my case a few times, with no damage to my unit. Very satisfied with my purchase. 9.5/10.
