Not going to answer about bed adhesion. However you are experiencing heat creep. The hotend fan has probably became weak overtime and cannot adequately keep the cold side cool. So as heat climbs through the cold side, it jams. I would suggest ordering a bi metal, as the original heat break is just garbage. Then you’ll need to grab thermal grease that has a high enough temp rating for the S1 hot end. Thermal grease acts just like thermal paste for computer components. Just helps thermal transfer. I would suggest coating the cold side in thermal grease, then remove and coat both the thermistor and heating element. Once that is completed I would suggest you order a new 3010 fan, or see if the jamming stops. If the jamming stops, PID tune the hot end. Then I would see about printing an adapter to fit a larger hotend fan to reduce chances of heat creep. Good luck. Heat creep is a pain in the dick.
