New, better axles are always a nice upgrade. Installing bearing in the stock ones helps them out greatly though and is a lot cheaper. Amazon.com: INJORA Steel Sealed Bearing Kit for TRX4M 1/18 RC Crawler, 22PCS (Black) : Toys & Gamesstock bushings eventually wear out and get pitted real bad.
