Just pointing out some of the choices. Pretty much any amplifier based on the Texas Instruments TPA3xxx chips will sound excellent. Double check what I posted, I am pretty sure they all have USB input (i.e. they work like an external soundcard with built in amplifier). I LOVE TPA3xxx based amps and have many of them. The ones that I have that plug into the computer via usb have been automatically recognized without having to hunt down and load a driver.
