That is what Grandes do when they're warming up. Mine takes about 3 hours or a bit more to really get to doing its thing. And trust me, it *will* be spectacular, Grandes are worth the price--especially if you bought yours from ccmusic.com, lol. To really keep it flowing perfectly, you need to get a Kasa dimmer/timer. You can use a phone or iPad to set it up. I fire up mine, which is at my photo studio, about three hours before I come in. Then, after that initial three hours, I have it set to dial the brightness back to about 90%, as that gives me nice, continuous snaky flow without a bunch of small bubbles or the wax lingering at the top. It's definitely worth the extra expense to achieve the full potential of your Grande. Hope that helps. Enjoy!
